As an anticipated Journalism major, it seems slightly more acceptable that I enjoyed Writing the Essay.

I probably would not have liked it nearly as much if I did not have such an awesome professor for this course. Me very thankful that I was assigned practical and helpful exercises — not just busywork when I compared my course work to the course work of my friends, there were huge differences that made. I would not endorse solely relying on Rate My Professors, however it does help start the entire process of finding a professor that is solid.

It was not my personal favorite course it was probably the hardest of my courses and it required the most time and effort because it was easy — in reality. It’ll be a challenging course but it will also be extremely fulfilling in the event that you give it your all. As an incoming university student, it is critical to recognize that you intend to get the maximum benefit from the money, so “easier” courses try not to necessarily translate to “better” courses.

“My advice to incoming freshman about Writing the Essay is always to go on it the fall of one’s freshman year and work out sure you can get a great professor. I do believe some progressions are helpful but mainly you just need to survive.”
Even you could still end up hating it just as much as everyone else if you try to follow all the advice on taking Writing the Essay.
Ultimately, there is no need to love it — you just need to survive. Into the final end, you might not be a significantly better person, but hey, at the least you won’t need to take it again!
